                Thank you for considering Oatlands Historic House and Gardens for your wedding! Nestled in
                      picturesque Loudoun County, Virginia, Oatlands boasts over 200 years of history,
        and over 30 years as a wedding venue. With stunning terraced gardens, a stately Historic Mansion,
               the oldest Greenhouse in the South, and nearly 400 acres of incredible vistas and rolling hills,
                              Oatlands has a wide variety of locations to create your unique wedding. 

All Wedding Packages at Oatlands include the following:

  •  A five hour event timeline, generally including ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
    • Typically 5:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
    • Additional 2.5-hour vendor set-up and 1-hour breakdown included
  • Ceremony at your preferred location within the 4.5-acre formal English gardens
  • or anywhere on the grounds.
  • Your wedding photos in the exquisite formal gardens and throughout the property.
  •  The use of two on-site 'ready rooms' for 3 hours prior to the ceremony.
    • The Council Room located in the basement of the Historic Mansion
    • The 1810 Bachelor's Cottage    
  •  Spacious parking lot with overhead lighting; handicap parking available.
  •  On-site Ceremony Rehearsal with your Oatlands coordinator at a time that is convenient to your schedule.
  •  Available inventory of tables and chairs included for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.
  • Golf cart rides are available for guests between wedding locations.
  •  An Oatlands point of contact throughout your planning process and day-of site coordinator to manage vendor arrival and setup, guest arrival, and ceremony and reception coordination.

You are welcome to stop by during business hours for a self-guided tour the property.

The property is open April through December. Our hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 10:00a.m.-5:00p.m., or Sunday, 1:00p.m.-5:00p.m. Please pick up a complimentary pass to the grounds at the Carriage House Gift Shop. (This pass does not include admittance to the mansion.)
