Welcome to Oatlands' Harvest Festival 2012!
October 21 from 1-5pm
(Online tickets sales are not available on the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 for a family (2 adults + children under 16) or $10 for individuals.)
Come ride in a hay wagon, do a country dance, enjoy great music, explore the historic garden, learn about the rare circa 1821 brick bank barn, view unique heritage breed farm animals, pick a pumpkin, bid on a pie, and just enjoy the spectacular scenery of the season at Oatlands.
The Harvest Festival promises to be an afternoon of wholesome fun for the whole family in a spectacularly beautiful setting! Ayrshire Farm will exhibit their heritage breed farm animals under the centuries-old trees at Oatlands. Ayrshire will also provide the hay rides for event guests. Acclaimed country band Southern Winds will entertain, and a caller will lead guests through lively country line-dancing.
Civil War re-enactors, vintage farm implements and carriages on display, Oatlands grown pumpkins for sale, pumpkin decorating, tours of Oatlands’ historic mansion (additional fee), food and drink available for purchase, wineries and a brewery with tastings and wine by the glass available for purchase, a pie auction, and various goods and services vendors round out the afternoon.
Tickets are $10 for individuals, or $20 for a family (two adults plus children under 16) on the day of the event.
The Harvest Festival will be held rain or shine. This event was hugely successful in 2011 and this year coincides with Oatlands' participation in the Loudoun County Fall Farm Tour.
